Building repairs and maintenance at height

Small repairs high up the building often do not justify a scaffold. Our rope team can reach the problem and fix it in days, not weeks.

What we repair

  • Glazing: resealing and minor glazing work
  • Sealant and joint replacement on windows and panels
  • Concrete repairs and patching
  • Façade painting and restoration of stucco, cornices, pediments and sills
  • Painting of walls, frames and metalwork
  • Removal of vegetation from walls, ledges and gutters
  • Vegetation clearance on steep slopes, cuttings and railway embankments

Façade painting and restoration

Paint on old stucco and stone fails at the parapet first, where water sits longest. We work from the ropes to scrape back loose paint, repair the substrate, then prime and repaint pediments, scrolls, cornices and sills. No scaffold is needed, so a busy shopping street stays open below.

After the repaint we returned to install the festive lighting on the same façade.

Vegetation clearance on slopes and embankments

Steep cuttings and embankments are often too steep to walk and too overgrown for machines. Our rope team works down the slope on lines rigged from the top and clears vegetation by hand and with tools, including beside live railway lines.

Inspection on the same visit

While we are on the ropes for cleaning, we can photograph defects we see on the façade and send you a short report. You then decide what to fix.
